Assisted Stretch Therapy

Assisted Stretch Therapy is a customized table-based treatment designed to help you move more freely, reduce tension, and feel less restricted in your body.

With Shawne Klassen, RMT, your session may include assisted stretching, Thai yoga massage techniques, PNF-style stretching, Rapid NFR, deep tissue massage, and other mobility-focused techniques depending on what your body needs that day.

The goal is not to force flexibility. The goal is to create a deep, supported stretch that feels safe, useful, and comfortable.

What to Expect

Before we begin, we’ll take a few minutes to talk about your goals, flexibility, past injuries, and any areas that feel tight, sore, or restricted. This helps me tailor the session to your body and your comfort level.

During the session, you’ll be guided through supported stretches on the massage table. I’ll check in regularly so the intensity stays appropriate. It should feel like a useful stretch, not something sharp or painful.

Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in, such as athletic wear, shorts, leggings, yoga pants, or a T-shirt.

Who It Helps

Assisted Stretch Therapy may be helpful if you feel stiff, tight, compressed, or limited in your movement. Sessions are customized to your body and can focus on specific areas or a more complete full-body reset.

Tight Hips & Low Back

Great for people who feel restricted through the hips, glutes, hamstrings, or low back. This can be helpful if you sit a lot, train hard, or feel like your lower body never quite lets go.

Neck & Shoulder Tension

Helpful for desk posture, upper back tightness, shoulder restriction, and that heavy “carrying everything in your shoulders” feeling.

Mobility & Recovery

Useful for improving range of motion, supporting athletic recovery, and helping your body feel more open, balanced, and easier to move.
